Sales Training: Keeping Sales Short and Simple - The Easy Selling Approach

Everyone does best when they use their natural gifts or talents to serve others. They should also, obviously, use their natural talents to conduct business, as well.

One of your biggest fears may be that although you are serving mankind with your talent, you may still be looked upon as a salesperson. This goes against your belief and purpose. As a result, you may not treat the sales process as a productive process, but rather as something selfish and money-minded.

One reason that you may feel uncomfortable can be due to the fact that you are charging for something that comes naturally to you. It is true that when you offer your sales services, you are offering a part of yourself. Since your personality and your sales service become two inseparable things, you may feel like you are selling yourself at a price. This might also seem a bit unethical.

If you want to be successful in business, you need to get used to the "sales sequence" and purge the limiting thoughts that make you feel like a conman. On the other hand, if you try to do what someone else is doing without being naturally endowed for it, you are cheating yourself. So take pride in what you do and in what you charge for your services. Making this mental modification will take you a long way towards being secure about all aspects of your business.

Purge Pessimistic Thoughts - It is very likely that your mental inconsistency may be subconsciously conveyed to your customers and may make them hesitant to pay you what you ask for. Remember: if you present yourself well through your sales sequence, the price will not be an issue. This is because all along the sales sequence, you will continuously add value to their personal or business life. So do not let your negative thoughts spoil the deal.

Changing Your Attitude - If you want to seal the deal, you must have the attitude of serving your target niche and providing people with solutions instead of the attitude of selling something!! You begin this process not by selling your wares, but by starting a genuine conversation so that they may know of your ability to help them. Your conversation will be solution-oriented and not the usual sales waffles. Once they know of your abilities, your service will automatically gain exposure in your target niche.

Pull At Their Heartstrings - Heartstrings are the sensitive and vulnerable emotional areas that each person has. When you pull at their heartstrings, you are appealing to their emotional needs. As long as you are genuine, you will have a lifelong-relationship with customers who will continue to place a high value on your service or product.

You may find this tough and wonder why I call it the easy selling method Well, that's because it's so easy.

Selling is the tough part, and you do not have to sell. All you have to do is to meet their emotional needs and raise their self-esteem. Once they rise above their problems, and see hope, just ask them if they would need a helping hand. That's when you introduce what you have to offer.

I hope you see the difference of using this method. It is different because you do not mention the benefits. The customers mention them as something that they need. The customers are talking, and you are listening. The customers speak about their goals and dreams, which you are about to help fulfill. The customers speak with their heartstrings. The customers buy - without you having to sell.

Once you get used to this method, nothing will stop you.
