External pressures, increasingly competitive markets and industries,
shrinking profit margins and aggressive sales quotas have caused businesses
nationwide to reassess the way they use their existing sales force to sell
products and services. Faced with calls by management and investors to lower
selling expenses, many companies no longer have the luxury of holding
face-to-face meetings. Sales organizations are being reshaped to take advantage
of the ability to promote and sell products remotely. Today, senior account
managers, inside sales reps and other sales personnel must adapt to the existing
marketplace and focus on their ability to sell products and services effectively
over the telephone. Our Telephone Sales Skills Training workshop is designed to
assist sales professionals with this change while empowering them with proven
methodologies and skills to close more sales and affect their company’s bottom
line.
Our three-day Telephone Sales Skills Training workshop provides a highly
participatory, experience-driven learning environment to reinforce the skills
taught to successfully sell over the telephone. An in-depth discussion of
various sales structures, customer types and the different factors that affect
customer behavior is central to the ability to sell the value of products and
services while improving a company’s profits and cutting sales expenses.
Discussions on the skills required to adapt sales presentations, questioning
techniques, proposals and benefit statements based on sales types are also
reinforced. Multiple videotaped role-plays enable participants to practice using
methodologies, sales tools and other advanced skills in order to immediately put
to use the concepts taught in this workshop. Planning exercises are integrated
into the Telephone Sales Skills Training program materials to reinforce the
ability to apply learned strategies into key customer accounts. Participants
will ultimately benefit from effective telesales efforts that lead to realized
quota numbers and higher commission checks.
